  • We did some shooting for our holiday cards this week.  I'm not including any of the images that we will use but I thought you might enjoy seeing some of the shots we captured while we were playing around with the dogs after the studio was set up.

  • To get Maebe's ears perked up for the shot, I put a squeaker in my pocket that would make noise every time that I rolled on it.  (I was laying down to get on their level - I mostly avoid shooting down on the dogs.)

  • With the exception of Snickers, the dogs photographed on the white seamless were all considered for my Shelter Puppies book.  Some of the images made it into the book and others are being licensed as stock photography.

  • This is similar to the photo used as part of my original logo.  I eventually changed it to a sitting Spring silhouette because someone suggested that the jumping dog could be viewed as a bit aggressive.  I wasn't sure I agreed that it gave my business a negative connotation but I liked the sitting Spring version just as well.
