From time to time I would photograph the adoptable animals on different colored seamless backgrounds. Mostly I did this to make them stand out from all of the other profiles on Petfinder at any given time but sometimes I would do it around a holiday (like green for St. Patrick's Day). In every case, using a colored background made the images less salable as stock photography.
