Infrared (IR) image - This is a scene photographed off of a rural Kentucky road not far from my house in Lexington. This processing technique is used with some frequency by photographers on color digital IR images because the blue sky makes it look a bit closer to reality as we see it yet the foliage makes it clear that it is not a standard color photograph. The image started with the regular brown/blue combination from the camera but the blue and red channels were inverted in Photoshop.

I like the look of this image but I don't use this treatment often because I feel it can quickly start to feel gimmicky.
