Continuing with the theme of avoiding the camera for my self portrait, in this image I used motion blur to obscure my face. I showed myself doing schoolwork on the computer. I closed the blinds to make the primary light source the computer monitor and I framed myself against the brighter light coming from the hallway so that I wouldn't be completely lost in the frame. This portrait took some experimenting because the camera was on a tripod and I had to set the frame and exposure without being able to see how the composition would look in the view finder. Ultimately, I think the image is okay but it would have worked better had I used a shallow depth of field because the background is a distraction.
