Photographed as we enjoyed the holiday displays in the Winterhaven neighborhood. I asked Robin to pose in front of the candy cane lights. This is the only image made with a hand held camera this week. I needed to increase the ISO setting to ISO 2000 and opened my aperture to f/3.2. This allowed me to have a 1/60 sec exposure which was fast enough to ensure a sharp exposure. I also used a small LED light panel to illuminate Robin otherwise she would have been too dark in the frame.
I like this one (of course!) because it is a picture of my sweetie but also because I like the repeating candy canes through the frame on a diagonal.
